The Holy Quran is a compilation of the verbal revelations given to the
Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) over a period of twenty three years. Its scriptural status among a world-spanning religious community, and its major place within world literature generally, have led to a great deal of secondary literature on the Quran. The Quran is a Divine Miracle of Literature [Prophesy - Science - Warnings
- Wisdom - Truths]...and it has been Preserved 100% In the Original Language
- for over 1,400 years!
Note that the Quran was revealed to Muhammad in Arabic only. So, any Quranic translation, either in English or any other language, is neither a Quran, nor a version of the Quran, but rather it is only a translation of the meaning of the Quran.
Next, the leader who came after the prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) (Abu Bakr) entrusted the collection of the Quran to be written in one volume by one of the Prophet's scribe, Zaid Ibn Thabit. He kept it till his death. Then the next leader, Umar and after him to his daughter, Hafsa who had been one of the wives of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
To the Muslims, the Quran is the Word of God and contains complete guidance for mankind. Much of the Quran is about God, His attributes and man's relationship to Him.
Quran is a book that is the word of Allah (God) and there is no doubt about its divinity. The claim is made by no one but Allah Himself.
This is the Book (the Quran), whereof there is no doubt, a guidance to those who are Al-Muttaqoon (the pious and righteous persons who fear Allah much (abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds which He has forbidden) and love Allah much (perform all kinds of good deeds which He has ordained)).

“The Holy Qur’an is a Book so full of wisd
om that it has brought out the accord between
the principles of spiritual medicine, that is
to say, the principles of religion which are
truly spiritual medicine, and physical medicine
, and this accord is so fine that it opens
the doors of hundreds of insights and eterna
l truths. It is only that person who can
interpret the Holy Qur’an truly and perfectly,
who ponders the principles laid down by
the Holy Qur’an in the light of the system
of physical medicine.
On one occasion I was
shown in a vision some books of expert phys
icians which contained a discussion of the
principles of physical medicine, among wh
ich was included the book of the expert
Physician Qarshi, and it was indicated to
me that these Books contained a commentary
on the Holy Qur’an. This show
s that there is a deep relati
onship between the science of
bodies and the science of religion and that
they confirm each other. When I looked at
the Holy Qur’an, keeping in
mind the books that dealt
with physical medicine, I
discovered that the Holy Qur’an sets out in an excellent manner the principles of
physical medicine."
[Chashma-e-Ma‘rifat, Ruhani Khaza’in, Vol. 23, pp. 102-103]
The Quran was so meticulously preserved because it is the Book of Guidance
for all of humanity for all times. That is why it does not address just the
Arabs, in whose language it was revealed. In fact Arabs today do not comprise
more than 13% of the Today of Muslims in the world today.
